The German magazine AutoBild had the pleasure of driving the Boxster E in development at Porsche:
-Two versions are planned, a propulsion, the one tested and a four-wheel drive
-To overcome the lack of noise, Porsche installed a digital sound system, simply press a button and it activates or deactivates the sound of the engine.
The propulsion version of the Boxster E is equipped with a 341kg Lithium Iron Phosphate battery pack and delivers 122hp for a 0 to 100kph in 9.8 seconds and a top speed of 150kph.
The four-wheel drive version looks more appealing with a 0 to 100kph in 5.5 seconds and a top speed of 200kph.
The range of the two models should be substantially the same with 170km.
