This summer, the brand committed to being present for the UEFA Euro 2016 as a partner of the event. Also, this allowed the brand to have much more visibility on a European scale to achieve 30% more orders compared to last year.
Regarding the number of registered cars, we observe +28,1% compared to August 2015, and an increase of +19,3% cumulated since the beginning of the year. It’s the most significant progress made a general carmaker for the first 8 months of 2016, 2015 was already a good year. As for the sales of vehicles to companies, they’ve continued to increase. This increase represents 0,90% to 1% in 2015, 10% from January to end of July in 2016.
For Lionel French Keogh, Executive Director, “ summer’s results confirm an excellent trend of the beginning of the year for the Hyundai brand in France. The launch of the IONIQ hybrid and Electric, the i10 re-styled as well as the presentation of the new i30 at the Parisian Auto Show will provide opportunities to increase our volumes in the coming months.”
In October, it will be the occasion for Hyundai to reveal the next generation i30, the i30 re-styled and finally the IONIQ in its three versions.
Beginning September, the hybrid version is available starting from 225€/month long-term leasing while the electric version is available also starting from 255€/month long-term leasing.
