Its design is dynamic, such as its target(s): the Juke and the urban environment! It evolves somewhat from the concept but remains far from the classic and conformist designs of most of the range as the Auris for example, the C-HR wants to attract and make an impression!
The engine is a 1.8l hybrid (and two other petrol engines) and therefore will have for only competition the very recent Honda HR-V which is also available with a hybrid powertrain (a 1.5l hybrid gasoline developing a total of 137ch and 190nm). In fact even their names are already battling!
The engine of the Toyota C-HR for its part should develop 122hp for emissions of 90g / km with 2 or 4 wheel drive transmission with the CVT gearbox.
The release date and price of the C-HR are not yet announced but as indication, the Honda HR-V is available from € 21,500 but for the moment, the hybrid engine available in Japan is not yet announced in Europe!
While the confrontation Jazz hybrid / Yaris Hybrid was won by Toyota in sales figures, the two manufacturers will again compete in this very competitive segment ... To be continued!
