(VIDEO) Toyota KIKAI, a hybrid Twizy that exposes its components

Among Toyota's novelties exhibited on the 2016 Geneva Motor Show we spotted a very intriguing concept car, the Kikai, a micro city-car with hybrid motor, zoom on this unidentified rolling object.

Toyota Kikai can accommodate 3 people in 3.4m long, 1.8m wide and 1.55 high it is moved by a 1.5l 4-cylinder hybrid Atkinson cycle gasoline engine with an electric water pump, low friction timing chain and composite manifold, a true demonstration of hybrid technology at its best in a compact format.

Taking advantage of the Camatte experience that highlighted the technical elements with a sleek design, Toyota renews and pushes the experience further with the KIKAI.
As you know Toyota already sells a tilting three-wheeler, the i-Road, here, the Kikai receives an additional wheel and a seat with an hybrid drivetrain instead of the full electric!

In addition to the Kikai you can see on Toyota Geneva's booth the RAV4 Hybrid in a beautiful special edition "Sapphire" and the C-HR in series version, the little brother of the RAV4 - a competitor to the Nissan Juke - with a 1.8l hybrid!
