Indeed "4 roues sous un parapluie" worked for 5 years on a conversion of the 2CV to gradually convert its fleet and managed to have it approved/homologated by the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy!
To carry through the project, Florent received support and backing from Citroën - which will also present an electric car during the COP21, certainly the e-Mehari derived from the Bolloré BlueSummer - aptly named Marguerite, the 2CV twice green (for its color and powertrain) will be exhibited to the Paris' Grand Palais from Friday and until December 10!
At the moment no information is available on the technical sheet but the conversion presumably takes advantage of the car's lightness that does not require a big power and therefore allows a relatively small battery!
