Audi just revealed the official images of its first series production electric vehicle. This electric SUV is the response to the Tesla Model X whose first units are expected on the road later this year and the BMW X7 which could also be revealed found on the same Show in Frankfurt.
Forget the name C-BEV that was its code name, Audi's electric SUV is prefigured by the e-tron Quattro Concept is a 4WD whose dimensions are between those of the Q5 and Q7, which would confirm Q6 e-tron as series name...
For then we certainly know that thanks to new battery technologies this electric SUV by Audi will offer 500km of range and will be powered by three electric motors, one at the front, two at the back (no confirmation of the power but in our previous article we reported 500hp and 700nm - presumably in peak).
Designed as an electric vehicle from the start batteries are placed in the floor between the axles, giving way to a flat floor thanks to the absence of transmission shafts.
