(VIDEO) Permoveh, the smallest omnidirectional electric vehicle on four wheels

Small footprint and fitted with smart wheels the  Permoveh (Personal Mobile Vehicle) has been developed by the Professor Masaharu Komori of Kyoto’s University.

It incorporates a technology already seen on Honda’s unipersanol vehicles (U3-X et Uni-Cub), the omnidirectional wheel that can move in all axes, forward, backward, lateral, diagonal as you can i the video at the end of the article.

Is this the future of urban mobility a seat placed on a battery pack and controllers with intelligent wheels, it could be as simple as that ...

The Permoveh has been primarily designed to offer greater flexibility of movement for disabled people.
