Last week Peugeot was doing the second test session of the 908 HYbrid4 in Estoril, it is equipped with a V8 diesel and a kinetic energy recovery system.

The 908 HYbrid4 had already been driven on a private PSA track before, the first official public test of 300km at Estoril.

"The goal was not to drive a lot, but to verify that the main features were operational," Bruno Famin, Technical Director of Peugeot Sport.

The technology can store up 500kilojoules between two braking phases, providing an additional power of 60kW (81.5hp) during acceleration phases.
